I have loved art all my life, but with a busy real estate career, I never really had the opportunity to pursue it until I retired, and now it is my joy. I manage to fit it in between spending time with my grandchildren and husband, and it's a pleasure to share it with you here. I've gifted or sold many of my paintings, and I usually have some in an art show, but several are available, and if you'd like to preview them for a spot in your home, please reach out to me! HERE'S MY LATEST :
I call this PERFECT VACATION.
The kayak master is my husband, Tage. Our whole family (14 of us) went on a marvellous vacation together at this gorgeous house on the hill, overlooking its own 6 acre lake (and we were all in it every day). The house was beautifully decorated and maintained, and boasted 7 bedrooms and 5 baths, with its own bowling alley and pool table. It was unforgettable!
This is one of my newest paintings, and I hope you like it. When I saw the photo done by Eric Miller, a talented photographer, the concept just spoke to me. I call it TOGETHER . (after all these years) This will be displayed at the WILLINGBORO ART ALLIANCE show at Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly from Sept. 30 - Nov. 24, 2024
TOGETHER
12" x 16" oil $300
This rose is a painting done especially for my good friend Melanie for her surprise birthday party.
MELANIE'S ROSE
I call this WALKING IN WILDFLOWERS
It is a 16" x 12" oil $195 and is currently displayed on the entryway gallery wall at Jefferson Hospital, Church Rd. & Fork Landing Rd. in Cherry Hill.
A WALK IN WINTER I love a snow scene. This reminds me of walks with my husband, Tage, in Canada where we both grew up. 20" x 16" not for sale
LIGHTHOUSE AT BASS HARBOR, MAINE This is from a photo by my friend, Kevin Dryzik, on his vacation. I see this one and the following painting as a good pairing, though either could stand on its own. 12" x 16" $200
COMMUNING WITH NATURE 12" X 16" $200
This painting is from Kevin's photo of Acadia National Park in Maine.
I painted this to give it to our daughter Lea and son-in-law Danny for their condo they recently purchased in North Wildwood. It's from a photo Lea took of the view when they take their early morning walks by the water. I call it :
GOOD MORNING, LEA !
SYDNEY and BELLA LUNA
I painted this for my friend Phyllis of her granddaughter and her dog. If you have a pet you'd like a painting of, please contact me.
MORNING IN MAINE 20" x 16" $300 This could add a spot of color to anyone's wall.
REFLECTIONS: A combination of palette knife and brush, this is a painting I gave to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tudy and Byron.
ORCHIDS ON BLACK: This was a present to a special niece.
In April, 2023, I had a happy weekend with my husband on an annual meeting with our Danish club, the first since covid. I donated a painting for the raffle, and it was won by a friend, Fran Cameron. It was such a pleasure to present it to her.
You'll note it's Fran's The Garden Party Salon that is hosting the art show through Oct. 8, 2023.
BEVANS LAKE
(not its real name) but a peaceful little lake in Comox, BC, Canada. There really were swans living there last year, but this family is from my imagination. 16" x 20" $300
SAILBOAT ON BLUE Vivid colors to brighten your day!
11" x 14" $200
PLEIN AIR PAINTING A photographer was strolling at our Plein Air event at Smithville Park in Eastampton NJ and taking photos of the activities. He emailed me this shot, and I thank him for it. Love the gorgeous colors of a New Jersey autumn! ** This one is 9" x 12" and has a special glossy resin surface. $150
A DAY AT SEA
This painting has now become a favorite of mine (after many agonized revisions) and I'm so happy that daughter Charlene requested to own it. It's now displayed in Charlene and Kris' home.
Christmas of 2021, my husband and I had a project together -- a PUPPET STAGE for our then 7 year old granddaughter, Tia. Tage made the PVC pipe structure and I sewed the curtains. Hope we'll have some entertaining shows !
I had my first solo art show, all of December, 2018 at the beautiful gallery at the Warden's House, High St., Mt. Holly, showing 32 of my paintings. What a thrill! So many old friends, past clients, and of course family came, and I sold several of the paintings as well as the plexiglass Christmas decorations.
WHAT A SUPPORTIVE FAMILY !! At the Warden's House Art Gallery for my show.

TIA AND HER SNOWMAN: This is from a photo of our darling granddaughter Tia at age 3. She gathered up all the snow she needed, leaving grassy tracks all around her.
MOM AND BABY: I want a hippopotamus for Christmas! This would be very cute in a child's room. This one, like the Plein Air, has a special glossy resin coating. 11" x 14" THIS ONE IS NOW SOLD ! It will join the safari nursery of friends Amanda and Paul, for their first baby.
